HUDSON, NY (July 2, 2010) – Fidelis Care invites families to a night of summer fun and a viewing of the hit movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" Saturday, July 10 at Hudson's Waterfront Park by the Hudson Boat Launch.
This event is free and open to the community. Children, accompanied by a parent or guardian, are welcome to take part in games, dancing, and fun at 7:30 p.m. hosted by Radio Disney. The movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Prizes and giveaways will be available.
Fidelis Care representatives will also be on site to answer questions about health insurance options and to help eligible residents apply to enroll in Fidelis Care programs.
Fidelis Care offers free or low-cost health insurance through New York State's Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care programs. Child Health Plus is for children in New York State under age 19. Coverage may be free or as little as $9 per child per month. Adults ages 19 to 64 may qualify for low-cost health coverage through Family Health Plus based on their household size and gross monthly income. Fidelis Care members are covered for regular checkups, preventive care, hospital and emergency care, eye exams, dental care, and more.
To apply for enrollment in Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, or Medicaid Managed Care through Fidelis Care, please bring proof of age, income, and address.
